Fairy Celebration - Birthday Card

Hello and welcome back to my blog.
As promised yesterday, today I'm sharing the birthday card I made or our Granddaughter last week.
She really liked the gift set I made for her and no doubt she will try making something similar herself.

I really enjoy using inks in my projects and they can make a perfect background. For this project I blended 3 colours together for the background and I love the affect they made.

Fairy Celebration for a special little girl

Good morning and welcome to my blog.
Today I'm sharing a gift box I made for our Grand daughter for her birthday. She loves fairies at the moment so the Fairy Celebration set was perfect for what I had in mind.

  • To make the base cover a small cake board with Garden Green cardstock.
  • Then take a strip of white cardstock approx 1 1/2" wide and roll securing the end in place.
  • Then glue the bottom edge and adhere to the base.
  • Make the toadstool using the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die and Real Red cardstock.
  • Then add 1/2" circles of whisper white card and highlight the edges with Dazzling Details.
  • Now glue around the top edge of the stalk and glue the giftbox in place.
  • Cut a selection of flowers and leaves to decorate the base as desired.
  • Using the Fairy Celebration stamp set, stamp an image of choice and colour in. Carefully cut out the image and glue onto toadstool.
  • Finally add rhinestones to the centre of the flowers and highlight the flowers, leaves and fairy with Dazzling details.

I hope you have liked this project and would like to make one for yourself. There are so many things you can make using the Curvy Keepsake Box, especially for Christmas.

Tomorrow I will share the card that I made to go with the gift box.

Foxy Friends - Bear Love

Good morning, today I'm sharing the last of the projects we made at the technique class.
The final project was a cute little bear picture. This was so quick and easy to make and would make a super little gift.

These are the steps used to make the little bear.

Foxy Friends - Favourite Mouse

Hello, I hope you've all had a lovely weekend. I had my first crop of the month on Saturday and it was lovely to catch up with everyone again.
Today I have my favourite mouse card to share with you. This is a real cutie and I hope you like him as much as I do.

Once I had cut the circle from the card I used for the top layer, I inked the edges of the circles with daffodil delight, this helped give the circles definition. I then used dimentionals to layer the card and to make it look as if the mouse was in the cheese.

I have a new online code for you use this month. All orders between £20 and £150 will receive a gift from me at the beginning of November.

Foxy Friends - Loving these Mieces to Pieces

Hello, I hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

Today I'm continuing with the projects using the Foxy friends bundle. I'm just loving the cute little mice you can create. Todays make is one that I've cased from the lovely Julie Kettlewell as I just love the colour combination used.

This cute little guy is so much fun to make and just by tilting his head slightly his little personality appears.
